    Job Description

    The New Mexico Disaggregated Manufacturing Organization (NM DMO) is experiencing significant growth by introducing Foveros HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) through a unified organization at a single campus for the first time. As part of this exciting expansion, the Fab 9 Wafer Level Assembly team is in search of a Process Engineer to join as a key member to support the startup and growth into HVM.

    As the Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the startup and growth into high-volume production across all aspects of your designated module, focusing on safety, quality, output, cost, and labor productivity. Some of your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

    • Collaborating with fellow engineers and process development/transfer sites to become a subject matter expert on the equipment and process aligned with you.
    • Installing and validating equipment and processes for a successful factory startup and growth phase.
    • Engaging with partner factories globally to transfer new processes, maintain consistent parameters, exchange insights, and enhance processes and equipment.
    • Ensuring the continual improvement of your area of responsibility by proactively identifying and implementing safety enhancements, excursion prevention measures, and techniques to enhance equipment availability, utilization, and reduce costs.
    • Validating and integrating new hardware, software, and equipment upgrades.
    • Collaborating with the Manufacturing team to guide and support technicians in their technical progression.

    • Knowledge of statistical process control methods and engineering analysis tools.
    • Demonstrated capability to develop, validate, and implement process enhancements.
    • Comfortable working in a factory or laboratory setting.

    Relocation support will be provided.

    Qualifications

    To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications. Preferred qualifications are considered advantageous in identifying top candidates.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Possession of a B.S., Masters, or Ph.D. in an Engineering or Science discipline like Physics, Applied Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
    • 2+ years of experience (M.S. or Ph.D.) or 5+ years of experience (B.S.) in semiconductor fabrication processes and/or equipment.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry through graduate research, internships, or previous employment.
    • 5+ years of experience in statistical process control techniques, data analysis, and model-based problem-solving.
