LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join their team in Ottawa, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance with a focus on troubleshooting and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems. The role requires proficiency in PLC Configuration Software, particularly RSLogix 5000 and Concept. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and performance of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Utilize PLC Configuration Software, including RSLogix 5000 and Concept, to program and configure control systems.
• Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations staff as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in PLC Configuration Software, with experience in RSLogix 5000 and Concept preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
