An employer is seeking two Gaming Engineers to join their team in Spring, TX.He or she will be joining a Consumer Gaming organization to help the organization ultimately understand feedback from the gaming community on their products and to use that information to relay to corresponding teams for improvement.
He or she will have a passion for computer gaming and will help develop prototypes to help drive various improvements to their products.
The Gaming Engineer will conduct end-to-end product reviews and evaluate to ensure high quality Gaming Experience from a gamer's perspective, produce streaming and gaming videos to show either new features or different benchmarking results and to stay up to date with the latest advancements in game AI, machine learning, and related technologies, to explore innovative approaches to enhance the intelligence and responsiveness of game characters and entities.
This role is onsite at the Spring, TX location 3 days a week with the occasional travel per press release.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of gaming enthusiasm, creating own gaming device, or a passion for gaming
Deep understanding of gaming industryDiscord, Twitch, Reddit, etc and has their own channel or proof of active usage
Basic AI understanding/experience in the gaming industry such as understanding where certain games are going with AI
Basic development experience with Unreal Engine or Unity OR experience with programming languages such as C++/C# or Python to develop basic gaming prototypes
Capability to build a gaming PC from scratch.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
