    Description

    Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists (Clinical Fellows and ASHA-certified practitioners) who want to make a difference in their local communities Soliant has partnered with a school near Michigan City, IN, and is seeking a contract SLP for the upcoming school year.

    This is a moderately sized District with a population of 6000 students. Current contractors at the District tell us the administrators are supportive, well-organized, and prepared to meet the needs of all students.

    Duties include:

    • Providingspeech and/or language therapyto students identified with communication disorders.
    • Maintaining accurate service records of students on caseload
    • Evaluatingstudentswith suspected communication disorders; making recommendations for speech and language services as needed
    • Providingcomprehensive written report of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within the standards established by state guidelines
    • Developing speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs
    • Developing integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities.
    • Consulting with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language.
    • Participatingin the Medicaid billing process for school-based services as directed.

    • Indiana SLP license
