We are seeking a well-seasoned Senior Windows System Engineer with experience in Microsoft Cloud Technologies to support Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) in Washington, DC. As a senior member of the Enterprise Support Services (ESS) team you will work within the ESS team interacting with peer teams and partner groups scaling and deploying improvement consolidation migration and break/fix efforts within the enterprise.
This role requires an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Server Architecture PowerShell Scripting Active Directory and Workstation Management The right candidate will have the ability to adapt to changing technology and apply it to customer needs Great communication personal skills and focus on customer service are must The successful candidate will be self-starter someone experienced capable taking ownership complex issues flexibility fast-paced environment- Lead take ownership windows system administration duties related application migrations upgrades new integrations
- Support yearly updates DISA STIG benchmarks/baseline configuration windows servers
- IIS middle tier application hosting operational support
- Application control security enforcement using AppLocker
