The Pharmacy Coordinator manages the preparation scheduling and distribution of sterile products IV admixtures and chemotherapy regimens for home infusion and walk-in patients.
Responsibilities
- Coodinates Sterile Products/Chemotherapy regimen preparation scheduling for home/specialty pharmacy and walk-in patients.
- Maintains appropriate inventory of drugs supplies tracks infusion devices equipment on-site in-home assists with monitoring turn over as high as possible inventory low as possible assists controlled substance inventory control McKesson Maintains appropriate inventory specialty medications supplies Assists under licensed pharmacist dispensing insurance verification record keeping tasks instructed specialty pharmacist Quality management dedicated Specialty Pharmacy Takes responsibility ongoing quality procedures sterile preparation area compliance guidelines Hazardous Material Patient Safety Measures regard IV high risk drug prep Identifies oversees initiatives reduce potential environmental exposure contamination Assists ordering dispensing specialty medications
