    JOB SUMMARY: This position will provide management and oversight to the Procurement Center of Excellence Team which includes but is not limited to execute sourcing and buying activities by leading the procurement process and working with internal stakeholders to meet business requirements, initiate ideas and to improve efficiency and effectiveness of procurement activates.

    JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet the organizations goals
    2. Leadership, managing and developing a team of procurement professionals including buyers and analysts to achieve departmental objectives and enhance Multiplans Source to Pay operations
    3. Manage the enterprise level Source to Pay ecosystem by overseeing the entire Procurement cycle, including requisitioning, purchase order management, receipt of goods, invoice processing and payment
    4. Transformation driven by implementing and managing procurement software and tools to automate processes, improve visibility and enhance decision making
    5. Seek opportunities to optimize procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, minimize errors and streamline operations within the source to pay ecosystem
    6. Identify and evaluate vendors, negotiating contracts with favorable terms and pricing while maintaining vendor relationships
    7. Optimize the supply base to ensure financial stability, supply agility, information protection capabilities, risk mitigation and favorable commercial terms
    8. Collaborate with business stakeholders to proactively define business requirements, understand expenditure drivers, and identify and deliver strategies to optimize spend
    9. Analyzing procurement data and market trends to make informed decisions and identify cost savings opportunities
    10. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
    11. Generating and presenting reports to senior management detailing procurement performance, cost savings, and future strategies
    12. Understand and monitor leading practices and technology trends with the goal of business spend management.
    13. Enable governance of best practices and adherence to procurement policies and internal guidelines, Manage the vendor relationships for acquisition of third party contractors/consultants and track performance against financial service level agreements (SLAs) imposing penalties as negotiated

    15. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.

    JOB SCOPE: The Procurement Operations manager will oversee purchasing activities, manage vendor relationships and ensure effective supply chain processes. The focus will be on optimizing procurement strategies while maintaining quality standards. The Procurement Operations Manager will manage a team of buyers and analyists as well as collaborate with various key internal stakeholders. This is a people management job with authority for all HR actions (hiring, firing, discipline, training, etc.)
