    Mission of the Role (What you'll be doing): As the Quality Control Manager for the Plastics Division at SupplyOne, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance with industry regulations.

    You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust quality management system, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of quality excellence within the Plastics Division.


    Key Duties & Accountabilities:
    Organize and maintain SupplyOne's food safety management system within the Plastics division.

    Completed the necessary HACCP, internal auditing, and SQF training requirements/certifications.

    Understand the SQF

    Food Safety Code:

    Manufacture of Food Packaging and the requirements to implement and maintain an SQF System relevant to the site's scope of certification (Food Sector Categories and Products).

    Lead the development and implementation of the SupplyOne Food Safety Quality Management System (FSQM).

    Maintain process validation, verification, review, and change/improvement records.

    Re-assess and re-validate associated Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with any implemented process or product change.

    Manage and maintain all daily SQF-related documents and paperwork.

    Conduct an annual review of the plant FSQM Manual and ensure associated sub-elements and registers are updated.

    Prepare and assist in annual SQF certification audits.

    Work with QA, Training, Process Systems, and Production personnel on any new changes to the Work Instructions.

    Effectively communicate any changes, modifications, or updates in the FSQM system to managers, supervisors, leads, and other personnel.

    Provide concise and effective feedback concerning issues.

    Lead the HACCP process to develop and implement risk-based management and quality plans.

    Communicate with and train all employees in SupplyOne Food Safety Quality Management System policies and procedures.

    The is a team-based role and will require other responsibilities as needed.

    Qualifications (What you'll need to be successful):
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

    Proven experience in quality control/assurance within a manufacturing company. QC Manager 2024

    Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

    Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.

    Excellent leadership and communication skills.
