    The The Arlington of Naples is recruiting for Director of Health Services. This role functions as the Director of all nursing functions within the community and is responsible for planning, organizing and developing all nursing service operations with the goal of delivering the highest degree of quality care for the community's residents. This person is a key member of the Community's management team adhering to policies and procedures and upholding the Community's mission, philosophy, values and the Company's vision, principles and Hospitality Promises.

    Salary starting at $112,000

    Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:
    • Supervise all healthcare personnel to include hiring, training, evaluating and counseling within established policies and procedures.
    • Supervise, as needed, the schedule of nursing services/personnel.
    • Nurse Educator - coordinate training, implementation and maintenance of Heartfelt ConnectionsTM Memory Care program as well as overseeing the ongoing education of nursing staff. Must maintain a strong foundation of this program.
    • Maintain medical charting and required documentation under scope state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies.
    • Serve as the department representative and coordinator of the Quality Assurance program for nursing services.
    • Assess residents for change in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care.
    • Work closely with residents and families to develop & implement appropriate Plan of Care.
    • Maintains high visibility with residents in the Health Center and apartment residents. Makes frequent tours of resident rooms to ensure quality of care on all shifts and the general safety of the Health Center environment.
    • Possesses ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff
    • Responsible for the procurement of appropriate supplies and equipment while operating within the departmental budget.
    • Serves "on call" on weekends and after normal working hours.
    • Serves as Manager on Duty on occasional scheduled weekends
    Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
    • Degree from an accredited school of nursing. Registered nurse with a current license in Florida
    • Minimum of two years' experience in geriatric nursing and/or B.S. Degree in nursing.
    • Minimum of two years nursing administration experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
    • Participation in professional organizations, dealing primarily in geriatrics preferred. NADONA certification a plus.
