    About The Role

    As a Quality Assurance Engineer at PsychPlus, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our mental healthcare technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks, as well as to implement robust quality assurance processes throughout the software development lifecycle. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and passion for delivering exceptional user experiences will contribute to the success of our products and ultimately improve mental health outcomes for our users.

    Responsibilities

    1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
    2. Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects, regressions, and inconsistencies in software applications.
    3. Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with quality standards.
    4. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to provide input on quality-related matters.
    5. Perform root cause analysis of issues reported by internal teams or customers, and work closely with developers to implement timely resolutions.
    6. Continuously improve and optimize testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    7. Document test results, defects, and test cases in detail, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
    8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in quality assurance and mental healthcare.

    Requirements

    1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    2. Proven experience (5 years) in quality assurance/testing roles in the SaaS healthcare industry with specific experience with EHR applications and integrations.
    3. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
    4. Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques and tools (e.g., Cypress (required), Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
    5. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
    6. Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
    9. Passion for mental healthcare and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals through technology.

    Additional Information

    The expected base salary for this role will be between $100,000 - $130,000 at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Psychplus Health-sponsored benefits.
