Work on advanced FPGA systems that directly impact national security, while enjoying full ownership of your projects.
You'll design and develop FPGA-based digital hardware for RADAR, electronic warfare, and communication payloads. From prototyping to final testing, you'll shape high-impact solutions that support critical mission objectives. The base salary for this role goes up to $220k, dependent on experience.
What you'll do
With your expertise, you'll lead the development of FPGA-based digital designs, collaborating closely with software and electrical engineers to integrate systems with high-speed data converters and microwave transmitters/receivers.
You'll work on cutting-edge technologies including Xilinx SoC, VHDL/Verilog, and high-speed digital interfaces, while contributing to the advancement of space and defense systems. You'll also play a key role in ensuring your designs perform in real-world conditions.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of FPGA design experience, ideally with Xilinx platforms
- Strong skills in VHDL or Verilog and high-speed digital electronics
- Background in embedded software development
- Eligibility for TS/SCI level security clearance
