Day (United States of America)The Flexible Schedule RN is an exciting new position within the Resource Team. Flexible scheduling allows the RN to work non-traditional hours while still having the ability to provide direct patient care as well as act as a resource and mentor to other colleagues. The RN can work in four, six, eight, ten and/or twelve-hour blocks, with consideration given to other variations. The ideal candidate should have a passion for learning and mentorship, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and also be comfortable with shifting priorities to meet the needs of our patients. Part-time and full-time positions are available from 20 hours up to and including 40 hours a week. The Flexible Schedule is Weekends Only.You are required to have Two Plus Years of experience to be eligible for the position.
Full Time $5,000 SIGNING BONUS and Part Time $3,000 FOR RNS WITH ONE PLUS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is now offering up to a Full Time $5,000 and Part Time in signing bonuses for our Registered Nurse positions. {IF a Licensed role include: Registered Nurse position must be licensed with at least one (1) year of Registered Nurse experience to be eligible for the signing bonus.}
Important Details:
Signing Bonuses are paid out in three payments. You will receive your first payment (one third of the total amount) upon completion of the first 30 days of employment.
You will receive the second payment upon completion of six (6) months and the third payment (final of the total amount) owe upon completion of one year following your start date.
The bonus payments will be paid on the next regular pay day following the date on which you become eligible for the bonus. All payments are subject to applicable taxes.
Full time status at LHMC is considered for the schedules greater than or equal to 30 hours per week; part-time is 20-29 hours per week. Roles less than Full-Time will be prorated. Please note, per diem employees are not eligible for the signing bonus.
To be eligible:
Current and former BILH candidates - restrictions apply. Employees within the BILH system are not eligible for the bonus or if you have been employed by a BILH entity within the last 12-months.
If you leave Lahey Hospital & Medical Center before your first anniversary you will pay back the signing bonus.
Please note, signing bonuses are subject to change based on the organizations hiring needs and will be determined by Talent Acquisition on an ongoing basis. BILH/LHMC Talent Acquisition reserves the right to change signing bonus eligible jobs and amounts at any time.
Job Description:
Education:
Graduate of a 2-4 year state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
a. Demonstrates the necessary clinical skills and technical knowledge to provide care for patients according to Nursing Policy and Procedures. See Skill Record.
b. Demonstrates the necessary clinical skills and knowledge to provide care for patients according to the clinic specific competencies.
c. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
BSN preferred
At least 2 years of previous of Nursing experience in acute care or sub-acute setting required
Current Massachusetts registered Nurse license required.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
Lifting 75 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
