As an Internal Auditor Sr., you will be within PNCs Internal Audit organization, supporting the Information Technology (IT) Application Audit team. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at managers discretion.

As a Sr. Internal Auditor within PNCs IT Audit Application team, you will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and expertise of information technology risk and control principles while contributing to a wide variety of application auditing assignments. As a member of the IT Audit Application team, this role will focus primarily on technology and operational risks present within PNCs application environment and the risks related to usage of applications within the companys core business processes. The Sr. Internal Auditor IT Audit Application Team is responsible for evaluating technology risks to the company, developing and executing audit test plans, and working within the audit team to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies within the internal control system. In this role, you will use your expertise of technology risks, internal controls, and control testing methodologies to support completion of the annual internal audit plan by conducting standalone applications audits, business-oriented integrated audit reviews, and the evaluation of technology risks and controls related to End User Computing solutions.

Job Description

• Conducts execution of internal audit plan by leading or conducting financial, compliance or operational audit projects including the examination and evaluation of the adequacy of internal controls.
• Independently executes audit scope, objectives, and work plans. Assesses risk and controls, performs testing of key controls, and documents results. Documents audit work demonstrating command of language, clarity of thought, and orderliness of presentation.
• Executes procedures supporting external audit of internal controls, business processes, and account balances.
• Presents audit findings to audit management for the development of reports and recommendations.
• Develops and maintains productive client and team relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
