This job administers care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties, utilizing the Nursing Process.
Education
Required - High school diploma or equivalent.
Completed the sophomore or equivalent year with a hospital-based clinical rotation of a National League of Nursing accredited school program.
Preferred - Completed the junior year with a hospital-based clinical rotation of a National League of Nursing accredited school program .
Required - None.
Certifications
Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
