    The ShopHQ Technology Team has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Network Engineer. In this role you will partner with other business units to help deliver a robust, high-availability network and security architecture, that spans both on premise and cloud-based computing. The Lead Network Engineer uses technical knowledge to solve business problems by means of a systematic and disciplined approach. This position employs software, hardware, and/or communication technologies to accomplish assignments.

    Thorough familiarity with emerging computer and cloud technologies, coupled with industry recognized best practices, you will have the role of helping to provide a robust compute environment to our business.     Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance the companys network and telephony infrastructure.
    • Responsible for the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of the security toolset.
    • Responsible for design, procurement, and operations of the companys WAN circuits, video circuits and telephony trunks.
    • Develop and maintain the security program and security projects that address identified risks and business security requirements
    • Lead the PCI Compliance and Audit support program
    • Manage network and security engineers by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.

    Requirements

    • A bachelors degree with 4 years of related experience, or relevant work experience and certifications.
    • Minimum 3 Years in leading a technology network or security team
    • Proven network expertise with Cisco Nexus gear for organizations with a large LAN/WAN presence
    • Proven firewall expertise, preferably Checkpoint or Palo Alto firewalls.
    • Experience with Load Balancing, preferably NetScaler, but not required.
    • Experience in retail industry legal, regulatory and compliance requirements, including requirements for Payment Card Industry (PCI)
    • Industry certifications in information security, project management and technology auditing including, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CISA, GIAC GSEC, and/or comparable qualifications
    • Experience with Stellar Cyber XDR, Cyflare, Sentinel One is preferred.
    • Experience with Avaya, Lumen telephony solutions preferred.
    • Experience in the negotiation and procurement of IT services and solutions.
    • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
    • Able to conduct research into system issues and products as required.
    • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
    • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
