    AutoCamp is looking for On Call Bartenders. The On-Call Banquet Bartender engages customers and creates a positive experience for guests. Maintaining a friendly attitude, banquet bartenders attend all their customers in an efficient and prompt manner. Bartenders prepare and serve beverages that are both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. As an On-Call employee, hours are dependent upon the number of events that are scheduled at the property.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies and service procedures
    • Have thorough working knowledge of POS system - ordering, check presentation, payment processing.
    • Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
    • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment, and use equipment only as intended.
    • Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections, glassware and garnishes for events.
    • Maintain complete knowledge of the particular characteristics and description of every wine by the glass and major wines on the wine list.
    • Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items (including daily specials), prices, preparation method/time, major ingredients, and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish, and method of presentation.
    • Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set-up, and dress code of the restaurant.
    • Know and use all table numbers and position points throughout the event spaces
    • Maintain complete knowledge at all times of:
    • all hotel and restaurant features/services, hours of operation.
    • local area attractions/activities
    • scheduled daily group activities.
    • Complete all side duties as assigned, including setup and breakdown of all bars and cocktails furniture
    • Provide opening and closing counts of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the start and end of the times covered by the Banquet Event Order
    • Requisition supplies as needed from the Supervisor.
    • Organize and set up the bar area - ensure readiness prior to guest arrival.
    • Greet guests and suggest beverage order
    • Relay daily specials with brief descriptions; answer all questions on menu selections accurately and offer suggestions.
    • Take guests' orders utilizing upselling techniques and record all orders following service standards.
    • Open and serve wines according to department standards.
    • Total all sales and report to F&B Supervisor &/or Sales Manager
    • Complete all closing reports in the P.O.S. system. Total all transactions according to departmental procedures. Report all tips.
    • Count bank and complete cashier report.
    • Secure bar areas according to departmental procedure and return keys to their assigned location.
    • Monitor and anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests even when busy.
    • Maintain positive guest relations. Be familiar with all hotel services/features, and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
    • Handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
    • Wash all glassware, break down all bar furniture and setups, and return all clean items to Event Storage in an orderly fashion.
    • Store all daily deliveries in proper storage areas upon receipt of delivery,
    • Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
    • Legibly document all pertinent information in F&B log book.
    • Document any maintenance needs and submit to manager or directly to Engineering.
    • Attend meetings, menu and wine tastings as scheduled.
    Other duties include, but are not limited to
    • Participate in all conference calls as required
    • Represents the AutoCamp brand with all partnerships and local vendors
    • Special projects as assigned
    Requirements

    Competencies
    • A passion for hospitality and the great outdoors.
    • Strong relationship and negotiation skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
    • Working knowledge of Cloud Based Applications; knowledge of Google Suite products preferred.
    • Thoroughness and attention to detail.
    • Must be a MacGyver, able to find creative solutions when issues arise, with limited resources.
    • Able and willing to travel regularly.
    • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
    • Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
    • This role requires frequent walking, standing and climbing stairs. Must also have the ability to speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs independently and 50 lbs with assistance. Finger dexterity is necessary. Associates must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).
    Required Education and Experience
    • Required: Two years experience as a bartender.
    • Required: Ability to accurately compute and manipulate mathematical calculations.
    • Strongly preferred: Knowledge of wines, beers and spirits.
    • Strongly preferred: Knowledge of POS systems
    • Strongly preferred: Alcohol awareness certification (TIPS Training)
    Salary Description

    $25.00 an hour
