    Job OverviewUnder the direction of the Director, the Business Analyst , Cultural & Linguistic is responsible for managing and coordinating analysis projects that support AltaMed's C&L strategic initiatives.

    The primary responsibilities include coordination of C&L organization assessment, operations research and evaluation that measure Cultural, Linguistic, and Appropriate Services (CLAS) Standards, and application of qualitative and quantitative methodologies for reports on patient quality, utilization, and outcomes.

    Additional data analysis includes health care costs, return on investments (ROI), and or market research data.

    Position responsibilities include data mining, analysis and reporting of clinical quality, patient utilization and outcome, financial data, comparative analysis of AltaMed's performance against benchmarked health industry data, and analysis of market research or financial data for business development and growth initiatives.

    Responsibilities will also include cultivating and maintaining relationships with external partners and data sources and delivering customer-focused work products to inform decisions for the Department.

    Minimum RequirementsMinimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration or related fieldM.A. degree in public health, health administration, business administration, public administration or related field is preferred.

    A minimum of five (5) years of experience in analysis of health care operations, patient, clinical quality or financial data.
