    A well-regarded, Bethesda-based investment firm is working with The Ford Agency to find an experienced Events Coordinator to support their marketing team for a six-month temporary assignment. The Coordinator will assist with all planning and organizing of internal and external events, including operational, implementation, and post-event activities.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Work with marketing team to plan and implement all facets of in-person and virtual events and meetings
    • Identify and manage contracts with venues, catering, and technology partners for events
    • Manage event budgets, evaluating prior expenses, cost analysis, and vetting proposals
    • Manage communications with event/sponsorship contacts and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors
    • Liaise with marketing and distribution teams to manage marketing collateral processing and timelines
    • Assist with other duties as required

    Qualifications Include:

    • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or similar
    • 1 - 2 years' experience in an events coordinator or similar position
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM Database software a plus
    • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
    • Exceptional time management and organization skills

    Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
