    Description

    Electric GIS System Manager

    Company: PG&E

    Position Summary

    As an Electric GIS System Manager at PG&E, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the management of electric GIS processes to ensure efficiency and quality in the system of record. You will co-lead risk management activities, develop business system specialists, manage financial aspects, and metrics. The successful candidate can work from anywhere in Sacramento or the Bay Area.

    This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work remotely and at assigned locations within PG&E's service territory.

    The salary range provided by PG&E reflects the company's good-faith estimate for this position, based on various factors. The actual salary will consider skills, education, experience, and other relevant aspects.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Co-lead risk management activities for the electric GIS system
    • Lead business system specialists to maximize business value through process standardization
    • Manage training programs to ensure staff qualification
    • Ensure proper change management and communication for controls rollout
    • Develop department performance goals and metrics aligned with Electric Operations objectives
    • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate activities
    • Manage staff recruitment, training, performance, and rewards
    • Develop and manage department budget and resource targets

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • 10 years of job-related experience
    • 3 years of leadership experience
    • Experience working with unions

    Desired:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Geography or related field
    • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification
    • ASQ Quality Management certification
    • GISP-Geographic Information Systems Professional certification
    • ESRI-ArcGIS Desktop Professional Level certification
