    Lockheed Martin eTech is looking for an embedded software engineer staff to join our team to lead the design and implementation of new signal and data processing chains in a high performance heterogeneous compute environment.

    In this role, you will work as the embedded software lead in a cross-functional team focused on identifying, prototyping, and demonstrating the next evolution of sensor processing.


    This role is part of the Converged Sensors department focused on innovating the next evolution of multi-function radar, electronic warfare, and communications sensor technologies within the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area of Lockheed Martin.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree of higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
    • Minimum of 8 years of relevant development experience
    • Excellent C, C++< and Python programming skills
    • Experience developing CUDA based signal processing pipelines
    • Proficiency deploying linear algebra and AI/ML for nearrealtime applications
    • Proven verbal and written communications skills
    • Expert understanding of latency and data architecture approaches
    • Ability to support 10% travel
    • Active or ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance
    Desired Skills:

    • Experience implementing FPGAbased signal processing using OpenCL or SYCL
    • Familiarity with VPX hardware
    • Prior experience with Radar, Electronic Warfare, &/or Communications systems
    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level: Top Secret

    Remote Telework:

    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
