    Description

Auxilius, a fast-growing, venture-backed B2B tech startup dedicated to helping innovative Biotechs bring life-saving drugs to market cost-effectively, is looking for a Product Owner to be a key member of our team and help build, scale, and drive adoption of Auxilius products. This position reports directly to the VP of Product and will collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, designers, data scientists, and client managers. This person will play a pivotal role in delivering seamless user interface and user experience components of our platform.

Who are you? You are a curious, enthusiastic, and analytical individual ready to own strategic initiatives and innovations. You thrive working independently but value team collaboration. You know how to interact with customers, ask the right questions to understand pain points and needs, and translate those comments into actionable opportunities and solutions. You enjoy researching, analyzing data, problem-solving, and executing on the product roadmap. You are ready to roll up your sleeves to have an immediate impact.

    We'll count on you to...

    • Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, Engineering, QA, and Customer Operations teams to prioritize features. Develop the scope, gather requirements, and define backlog items (epics/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team.
    • Lead the release process from planning to execution and develop release notes, documentation, and product videos.
    • Lead the Scrum Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Reviews.
    • Own specific product initiatives from ideation and requirement gathering to delivery.
    • Design features with UI's, APIs, and data-driven insights that deliver unique experiences across the customer journey.
    • Prioritize the product backlog including technical improvements and bug fixes based on client demand, business cases, product KPIs, and strategic business goals.
    • Work in an agile environment to overcome roadblocks and develop recommendations for delivery issues, change requests, pre-release QA, and production issues.
    • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to help drive product adoption and improve usability.
    • Monitor product performance and usage with reports, dashboards, and periodic stakeholder reviews.
    • Participate in customer conversations to understand key pain points, synthesize evolving customer needs, and brainstorm opportunities and solutions.
    • Research and analyze the market and competition to influence the product roadmap.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • 2+ years of experience in web-based SaaS software
    • Demonstrated experience leading B2B or SaaS software products to market
    • Proven track record of managing end-to-end product development lifecycle for early-stage, growth environments
    • Proven track record of managing new product and feature launches
    • Bias towards experimentation but confidence in making decisions
    • Strong leadership presence; comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
    • Excellent communication skills across a wide variety of audiences
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to work well independently and with remote/hybrid teams
    • Experience with any of the following tools is a plus (Jira, Confluence, Figma, Pendo, DataDog, LaunchDarkly, ProductBoard)
    • Bonus if you have worked within FP&A, Clinical Data, or Clinical Trial space
    • A sense of humor
