Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced client-facing environment.
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure for a diverse range of clients.
The ideal candidate is not only a technical expert but also an effective communicator who understands the day-to-day business challenges faced by our clients.
This role requires a creative approach to leveraging technology to deliver innovative solutions.Responsibilities:
Network Design and Deployment:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients.
Client Collaboration:
Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and challenges. Communicate effectively to translate these needs into technical solutions.
Technology Innovation:
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies. Creatively apply technology to address client challenges and enhance their network infrastructure.
Problem Resolution:
Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations. Provide efficient and effective troubleshooting support.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Continuous Improvement:
Proactively seek opportunities to enhance network performance, security, and reliability. Implement improvements to optimize network infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining complex network infrastructures.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Meraki and Cisco network and security appliances.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail; solid administrative skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team.
Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience working with Cisco and or Meraki network gear.
Working knowledge of networking monitoring and management tools such as Auvik and or Domotz.
Previous experience with an MSP, MSSP, or similar Consulting Firm strongly preferred.
