Merkle is seeking a Senior React Native Mobile Developer to develop high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for our clients. You will report to the Mobile Technical Director. This is a remote role.
ResponsibilitiesYou will develop and provide features that follow designed technical solutions.
You will work with Leads and Architects assisting in the design and implementation of solutioned architecture and features.
You will collaborate with various teams, including project managers, designers, backend developers, and QA engineers.
You will work with QA to ensure the committed feature deliveries.
You will troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical challenges.
You will improve and monitor the mobile app performance, usability, security, and accessibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or another relevant field.3+ years of professional React Native (or comparable mobile app development) experience.
Proficiency in writing code that can be shared across multiple platforms efficiently, while also understanding the trade-offs between cross-platform and native development.
Experience optimizing mobile application performance, including reducing rendering and loading times, minimizing memory and battery consumption, and optimizing network requests.
Proficiency in mobile app testing techniques, including unit testing, integration testing, and UI testing across multiple mobile devices and operating system versions.
Knowledge of mobile-specific security considerations, including secure data storage, encryption techniques, secure network communication, and authentication mechanisms.A passion for staying updated with the latest mobile technologies, frameworks, development practices, and design trends.
Expertise in TypeScript and knowledge of JavaScript.
Expert in Git and working within a Git Flow environment.
Additional Information
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,000k- $110,400k.
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
