- Troubleshoot and repair HVACR equipment
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial and industrial customers
- Maintain and repair refrigeration units
- Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems
- Diagnose refrigeration malfunctions
- Ensure service activities comply with safety policies
- Record service details for customers and maintain order
- Assure good customer service and job site organization
- Provide feedback on service trends and cost-saving opportunities
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery
- Exposure to environmental conditions and hazardous materials
- Perform manual and repetitive tasks including bending, climbing, lifting
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Universal certification and refrigerant recovery expertise
- Knowledge of AC/DC electrical refrigeration/HVAC equipment
- Understanding of large and small refrigeration equipment
- Tool inventory maintenance
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Independent worker and efficient job completion
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to work with safety equipment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
