We are currently recruiting for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Shift Supervisor position on behalf of our client, a renowned beauty products manufacturer based in Indianapolis. Ideal candidates will be Bilingual (English/Spanish), people centric and have the ability to motivate others. Apply todayStatus: Temp to HireShift: 1st Shift, 6:45am-4pm, M-FLocation: Indianapolis, Park 100 areaSalary: $24-26/hr, dependent upon experienceJob Overview:As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations within the manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive and efficient working environment for the production team.Key Responsibilities:
    • Production Oversight:
      • Supervise and manage the daily production activities.
      • Monitor and analyze production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
      • Implement and enforce production processes to meet quality standards.
    • Team Leadership:
      • Lead and motivate a team of production staff.
      • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and expectations.
      • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
    • Quality Assurance:
      • Implement and enforce quality control measures.
      • Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet established quality standards.
      • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any issues.
    • Safety Compliance:
      • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
      • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
      • Investigate and address safety concerns promptly.
    • Process Improvement:
      • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
    Qualifications:
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
    • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
    • Self-directed/motivated
    • Excellent attendance is required
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of beauty products manufacturing processes is a plus.
    • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.
