    SUMMARY
    Acts as the subject matter expert for major business software developed in-house or purchased from vendor. Interacts closely with business users to accurately define business rules and has a deep understanding of the business area assigned.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Effectively communicate with business associates, team members, and other departments as needed to determine requirements, communicate status, and support solutions related to Workday configurations. and functionality. Configure and maintain Workday modules, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in HR processes.
    • Work jointly with other analysts on projects, enhancements, maintenance, and support; providing guidance to junior and uninformed team members and acting as advised by team leadership.
    • Contribute to software analysis, design and testing specifications through completion of standard exercises. Provide documentation that effectively communicate implementation expectation.
    • Participate in interaction with Systems Engineers and Analysts outside of project team to address integration and security details with other internal and external systems.
    • Investigate existing code libraries and modules to re-use as appropriate and minimize impact to existing automation.
    • Develop highly advanced software solutions in new and existing systems to support specifications designed by the project team.
    • Adhere to architectural standards and processes for design, development, testing and deployment of software solutions. Participate in architectural decision making and roll-out as led by IT Architects.
    • Assure solution quality through development and inspection of system-level test plans and assure that adequate testing has been completed.
    • Provide advanced technical and operational support when high profile issues occur in systems for which you are responsible.
    • Maintain solutions developed by your team as the need arises. Correct issues discovered, test the solution and communicate resolution to appropriate team members and business customers.
    • Provide expert technical or project leadership through consistent, independent management of various projects or technical oversight of specific software systems.
    • Stay updated on Workday releases and updates, ensuring the system is optimized for organizational needs.
    REQUIREMENTS
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred or 2 years of related college and related work experience.
    • At least 5 years of experience within the enterprise business systems space, with at least 3 of those years using Workday extensively (Workday implementation/configuration support).
    • Proficiency in Workday configuration, including business process setup, security, calculated fields, testing and custom reports
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in providing end-user support and training.
    • Excellent competencies in planning, organization time management, written and oral communication, collaboration and basic understanding of business operations.
