    Responsibilities

    • Play an essential role in business retention by building, expanding, and solidifying business relationships with existing and new clients based on your assigned book of business. Has retention goals.
    • Determine risk requirements by analyzing coverage, exposures, and loss experience. Take the necessary steps in placing coverage required by the client, re marketing when required, and adhering to binding authority set by the carriers.
    • Negotiate with underwriters and carriers.
    • Prepare and issue summaries of insurance, proposals, and binders of insurance.
    • Answers customer questions regarding products and services by quickly diagnosing and solving the problem(s).
    • Upselling and cross-selling opportunities by the sale of additional coverage to clients to enhance client retention and relationship management.
    • Provide marketing support to new business production and renewals when required.
    • Handle day to day client inquiries and policy servicing (policy changes, endorsements, policy checking, contract reviews, etc.)
    • Acts as the first point of contact to the Customer Service Representatives and Customer Services
    • Administrators.
    • Must keep current with insurance markets and changing coverages within the industry, including participating in insurer networking events.

    Requirements

    • Keys to success in this position include Florida 2-20 General Lines License in good standing and four
    • (4) years of commercial insurance industry experience.
    • Insurance Designation such as AAI, CIC, CPCU or other certifications/designations highly valued and knowledge of AMS360 considered an asset.
