- Minimum of three years of recent acute care clinical nursing experience is required.
- Experience serving as a preceptor is required.
- One year of teaching experience preferred; nursing professional development or specialty‑area experience preferred.
- BSN required; active enrollment in a Master's program with degree completion within two years preferred. - Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut (required prior to hire).
- NPD or Clinical Specialty Certification required within two years of hire/transfer.

- Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
- Knowledge of high reliability principles and LEAN process improvement methodologies.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
