Job Description

My well-respected client in the Las Vegas area is looking to add a Dental Hygienist to their already well-established team. All of their staff members are offered continued training to assist in your transition into the role. They also offer a competitive compensation package which includes health insurance plans, a competitive bonus structure, PTO, and 401k. The ideal candidate for this position will have all, or the majority of the following:

Responsibilities:

Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
Take radiographs of patients using standard dental radiographic equipment.
Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patients chart.
Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as fluorides and sealants.
Perform the following duties as applicable by practice and/or state laws:

Screen for Oral Cancer.
Take alginate impressions and fabricate whitening trays.

Qualifications:

Valid Dental Hygienist License Minimum of an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene.
Maintain up to date trainings as required by law.
Versed in Dentrix is preferred.
Certification for other duties as required by the state practice act.
