- Execute various customer transactions including but not limited to: receiving and paying out cash or other disbursements, cashing checks, accepting account deposits and withdrawals, accepting loan payments, issuing cashier's checks, and redeeming savings bonds.
- Understand the bank's security policies and procedures, assists in opening and closing procedures and maintaining codes, alarm function, cameras, cash controls and other related activities.
- Process night deposits and mailed transactions.
- Supply customers with coin and currency. Monitors and maintains established levels of cash in vault and determines what needs to be ordered/shipped.
- Verify sums of coin and currency received from branches, customers, tellers and cash shipment. Maintains daily log of shipments to/from.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and refers customers to appropriate areas within the Bank to optimize their financial relationship.
- Assist customers with address changes, contact information updates, check orders, debit card issuance and maintenance, and online access setup and resets.
- Maintain awareness of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role.
- Take initiative in developing brand awareness through continued relationship building with prospects and customers, partnering with the Branch Manager and business partners to refer appropriate products and services.
- Exhibit interpersonal and communication skills, providing an environment of open and authentic communication.
- Adhere to all Legence Bank and AFMFS Hoopla standards, serving as an example to other team members, as well as to our customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
This role is equivalent to that of Teller/Universal Banker, with a built in career path for the individual that will include learning new accounts and consumer lending. This individual will establish, expand and maintain customer relationships by providing above and beyond service, focused on the specific needs of each individual and business banking customer.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, fax machines, scanning equipment.
This role has a built-in career progression to include learning new accounts, both business and personal, as well as consumer lending processes within its first 12 months.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Fridays, and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a minimum of two Saturdays per month. Part-Time Team Members will not work more than 30.00 hours in a given week.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
