    Description

    This position is dual purpose and will support Manufacturing Engineering and Pre-Production Engineering reporting to the Director of Engineering and Fabrication.

    Manufacturing Engineering

    :

    Design, develop, and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and operations. Improve processes and help resolve problems leading to improvements in throughput and efficiencies. Analyze and evaluate quality issues and develop and implement corrective actions. Develop and implement processes involving new products and equipment.
    Pre-Production Engineering

    :

    Utilize CAD software to complete drafting/drawings of customer jobs and update ERP solution to monitor job progress and costs.
    Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing or equivalent experience.
    2+ years of manufacturing experience is required.
    Experience in the application of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S is required.
    ERP and engineering systems experience – (Epicor E-10, AutoCAD, Microvellum) a plus.
    Ability to use machine programming software WoodWOP, Microvellum, MasterCAM
    Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook
    Must have strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrated experience troubleshooting equipment.
    Work independently.

    Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate drafting instruments, computers, and various pieces of office equipment.
