    Description

    E&I COMMISSIONING SPECIALIST

    Seeking an E&I Commissioning Specialist to work with a leading EPC specializing in the oil and gas industry. This Commissioning Specialist will develop commissioning procedures for an offshore project. The project is transitioning from project definition to execution phase; design materials sent to fabricators. This is not a 'hands on' commissioning role as the commissioning will be managed by Shell.

    Must have minimum 5 years of E&I commissioning experience. HUET and TWIC certifications are required for offshore work.:

    • Minimum 5 years' experience in E/I Commissioning (at any level)
    • Strong Technical Writing skills for the SCP development
    • Proficiency in MS Office tools
    • Offshore experience a strong plus but not required
    • Brownfield experience a strong plus but not required
    • Ability to efficiently work remotely with an expected 1 week/month in the office until 1Q 2025
    • New Orleans area-based individuals with the ability to work in the Metairie office is a plus
    • Ability to work a rotation in the fabrication yard (location TBD) from 2Q 2025 through 4Q 2025
    • Ability to work a rotation offshore on the Vito platform from 4Q 2025 through 2Q 2026
    • Requisite TWIC and HUET training required

    Technology requirements:

    Proficient in MS Office tools

    Adequacy in Navisworks (viewing and navigation only)

    Familiarity with document control systems

    Familiarity with document mark-up tools (Bluebeam, PDF Exchange, etc.)
