    Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.

    The Line Runner ensures the efficiency of the operation of a packaging or manufacturing line. The Line Runner is responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of products.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Ensures that the designated line is properly set-up and runs productively.

    · Completes the appropriate paperwork accurately and on time.

    · Runs the various line equipment.

    · Checks products on the line for damages and inconsistencies.

    · Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

    · Responsible for adhering to all SOPs, cGMPs, and safety requirements and procedures.

    · Performs all other duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

    · High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred.

    · Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend.

    · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

    · Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).

    EXPERIENCE:

    · Prior manufacturing or packaging experience preferred.

    SKILLS:

    · Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.

    · Must be able to respond to and follow verbal/written instructions.

    · Ability to write simple correspondence.

    · Basic mathematical skills.

    · Basic technical and mechanical skills the understand the equipment.

    The approximate hourly pay for this position is $19.10 to $21.68. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
