    Summary



    The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Budget Analyst in the Department of the Air Force Deputy Assistant Secretary (Budget Investment) Directorate.

    Employee performs various budget functions involving the justification, and/or execution of budgets for organizations, programs, and project involving both direct and reimbursable budge authorities in annual and multi-year appropriations.

    Duties



    DUTY 1:

    At the agency level performs budget formulation procedures/processes involving independent assessment and preparation of detailed analyses, budget estimates, special reports, and other documentation for a segment of the Air Force budget.

    DUTY 2:

    Performs budget execution oversight involving annual and multi-year direct and reimbursable Air Force and DoD appropriations (i.e., O&M, RDT&E, Procurement) involving the administration and review of requests for allotments of budget authority for distribution to field activities world-wide.

    DUTY 3:
    Provides financial advisory services to extensive and diverse customer base.

    DUTY 4:
    Uses automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments.
