    Description

    Bartender New York, New York - Full Time **Bartender/Server Key Responsibilities:**

    The bartender is responsible for providing excellent service to all guest as well as mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as food to our guests. You will also be responsible for the sanitation and cleanliness of the bar and beverage preparation areas. You are expected to follow safe food handling and service practices and work closely with the sales staff and food & beverage staff to service restaurants, bars, meetings, banquets and other guest events. He/she will comply with any licensing or regulatory requirements.

    **Bartender/Server Job Requirements:**

    Basic knowledge of coffee, beer, wine, and spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes.

    Basic mathematical skills. Handle money and give correct change.

    Must be able to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe.

    Ability to stand the entire shift, long hours sometimes required.

    Experience preparing and serving gourmet meals.

    **Bartender/Server Experience/Education** :

    High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Previous bartending experience preferred.

    Food handling certificate in states or counties where required.

    State/local licensing and/or certification where required.

    **Bartender/Server Hours of position**

    This position requires **OPEN AVAILABILITY** which may include working weekends and holidays.
