    About Team & About Role:
    RSC(Rubrik Security Cloud) is the SaaS control plane for Rubrik.

    Our mission is to build a highly scalable and reliable cloud data management platform for the largest enterprises in the world.


    As an engineer on the RSC Platform team, you'll be working on the fundamental infrastructure components that all other RSC product teams at Rubrik build upon, including our microservices architecture, Kubernetes deployment system, distributed job workflow engine, and database instances(Mysql).

    This is an exciting time to join as we are constantly improving and innovating on each of our core layers - Kubernetes services, distributed job framework, and MySQL.


    The database team is part of the RSC Platform team and is responsible for DB service, which is responsible for managing all the metadata required to operate RSC.

    What You'll Do:
    Rubrik Software Engineers are self-starters, driven, and can manage themselves. We believe in giving engineers responsibility, not tasks.     Build our platforms, systems, and infrastructure using your strong background in distributed systems and large-scale storage systems.
    Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the software.
    Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise.
    Identify and solve bottlenecks within our software stack.


    Experience You'll Need:
    2+ years of relevant work experience with a BS/BA degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
    1+ years of relevant work experience with an MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
    Experience in software development in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to Go, Python, Scala


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Qualifications - nice to haves (preferably 1-3 bullet points)
    Experience architecting and developing large-scale systems.
    Prior experience working with the databases (preferably Mysql)
    Experience working with GCP, Kubernetes.

    The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits.

    The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location.

    Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    US Pay Range

    $148,000-$222,000 USD
