Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to work in our Cardiac Surgery department located at Palos Hospital.This position involves working ~90% inpatient OR/Floor combination and ~10% outpatient; primarily rounding on patients, first assisting in the OR, and seeing patients in the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Conducts comprehensive appraisals of patients' health status by taking health histories and performing physical examinations in clinical area.
- Provides direct clinical care to patients.
- Prescribes/orders medications therapies orders/interprets laboratory tests x-rays procedures according to clinical privileges.
