Job Description

Summary: Mechanical Designer II sought for creating mechanical construction drawings and designing HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems with AutoCAD MEP/Revit.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in HVAC system design and drafting
Experience with HVAC Heating and Cooling load calculations
Proven track record in mechanical systems design across various projects including office buildings, labs, warehouses, etc.
Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit
Familiarity with mechanical and building codes

Preferred Skills:

Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word and Excel
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare mechanical construction drawings using AutoCAD MEP/Revit
Design tasks within Revit for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems
Support a diverse customer base in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with foremen, business development teams, estimators, and clients to meet expectations and deadlines
Communicate about design elements orally and in writing; respond promptly to change requests
Assist pre-construction efforts with cost budgeting at conceptual stages and value engineering

Additional Information:

Initial onsite work required; potential for hybrid or remote work after initial period
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

Pay Details: $24.00 to $33.00 per hour
