    Effective Jan 1, 2024, employees are expected to work at their assigned office a minimum of two days per week.

    In the event that this is not geographically reasonable, you may work in the office closest to your home. Additionally, we expect employees to participate in required firm events/meeting (e.g., trainings, team bonding, client meetings, etc.)

    As a Senior/Supervising Senior in our Private Equity tax group, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
    Review federal and multi-state income tax returns or private equity entities and/or private equity family officePrepare more complex client work and delegate entry level work to staff accountantsTake ownership and organize workflow of client engagements, ensuring filing deadlines are metIdentify tax issues and propose strategies to resolve themResearch technical tax informationRespond to and prepare correspondences to tax authoritiesResponsible for meeting engagement timelines and budget guidelines, and provide job status to partners, managers, and client personnel in a timely mannerDevelop strong relationships with firm professionals and clientsSupervise and manage expectations of engagement teams, staff accountants and/or interns on your teamsCoach and provide feedback to junior team membersEffectively utilize and train others on firm tax preparation softwareParticipate in staff and senior level trainingsEnsure high quality of work productTo be successful, these are the skills and experiences you will need: 2+ years of experience depending on relevant work experiencePrivate equity tax compliance experience a plusBachelors degree in accounting or related major requiredPassed all 4 sections of the CPA Exam and has met the requirements to obtain their CPA licenseStrong technical aptitude and communication skillsAbility to work independentlyHas proven experience in leading and supervising a teamYou Matter
