Job DescriptionTailor or seamstress with professional experience wanted for a full or part time position.
Demand for our services are so high that we are urgently hiring a seamstress or tailor with at least 5 years of sewing experience.
Due to demand we are paying significantly over standard hourly rates for seamstresses and tailors who can work at speed with accuracy.
We service all garment types: bridal, formal, men's suits, uniforms, leather, casual and commercial uniform.
Candidates need to be able to hit the ground running with minimal training, this is not a position for a home sewer or someone who is still learning.
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years experience as a seamstress or tailor in a professional sewing environment
Speak & read English well enough to communicate with co-workers and follow instruction
Comfortable with industrial sewing machines
A great work ethic, winning personality, and team player
What you will be doing
Hems, tapers, shortening, take-in & let -out, repairs, darts, and other clothing alteration tasks.
What you will not be doing
No counter or customer service.
