    Join Our Caring Team as a Certified Nursing Assistant

    As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate daily care and services to our residents. Your responsibilities will align with the residents' assessments and care plans, and you'll work closely with our supportive team of supervisors.

    Essential Duties:

    • Complete daily shift reports and communicate urgent needs to the next shift to ensure continuity of care.
    • Perform all nursing tasks responsibly and according to established policies, demonstrating effective time management throughout your shift.
    • Assist residents with various needs including housekeeping, laundry, and social interactions, while using proper lifting techniques.
    • Help serve meals and assist with essential clean-up to maintain a pleasant dining environment.
    • Document all care provided accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts to ensure informative and descriptive records.
    • Report any changes in a resident's condition to the Director of Nursing (DON)/Charge Nurse/HWD promptly.
    • Maintain confidentiality of residents' protected health information, reporting any suspected violations to the Administrator immediately.
    • Keep your certification current and actively engage in continuing education through staff meetings, in-services, and online training.

    Education/Experience:

    • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • You must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification from the state.
    • Pursuing candidates with prior CNA experience, preferably in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing settings, for at least 1 year.

    Specific Requirements:

    • Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
    • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
    • Skill in interacting tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, and the public.
    • Possess the qualities of patience, tact, a cheerful attitude, and enthusiasm, especially when working with challenging residents.
    • Provide proof of certification when applying for the position.
