    Summary


    • This position provides clinical services to the patients in the Behavioral Health Unit. This includes individual and group therapy, along with interdisciplinary team activities. The patients served by the Behavioral Health Unit are adults and geriatrics.
    • This position works under the supervision of the Director of the Behavioral Health Unit and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
    Duties


    • Provides clinical assessment covering all professional, regulatory, psychosocial, and hospital standards, to all patients assigned from the mental health unit. Each assessment formulates recommendations for treatment and discharge planning.
    • Provides therapeutic intervention on an individual and group basis.
    • Participates with the interdisciplinary team for case review and develops aftercare with interdisciplinary team. Coordinates referrals to community agencies and aftercare with outpatient providers, family, caseworkers, guardians, facilities and others as necessary.
    • Provides input into program development and staff education as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications


    • Masters in Counseling, Social Work or related field is required.
    • Pursuit of Licensed Clinical/Master Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri within 3 years of being in role is required.
    • Minimum of one year of experience in similar Mental Health setting is required.
