- Review and enter all RTS Access, RTS Regional Operations and Genesee Transportation Council invoices for payment
- Enter vendor wire payments and wage garnishments into Lawson for all companies
- Enter and cut checks for Capital invoices on a monthly basis
- Perform deposits on a weekly basis for both RTS and regionals
- Respond to inquiries from internal customers and external vendors
- Prepare and mail vendor checks
- Establish, update, and maintain vendor records in Lawson
- Prepare monthly travel card reconciliation spreadsheet
- Process weekly workers' compensation payments
- Perform monthly Regional vendor accruals and bank reconciliations
- Process fare media orders, returns/refunds and exchanges
- Four-year degree in accounting or related field
- Zero to two years of experience working in accounting or related field
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
- Ability to perform a variety of routine duties involving the use of procedures and the application of clearly prescribed standard practice where the employee could make minor decisions and use some judgment
- Ability to work from objectives defined by supervisor or by explicit procedures and rules
- Proceeds alone on routine work and refers questionable cases to supervisor
- Strong computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce
- Strong time management skills; ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
