    An exceptional law firm in Downtown LA is seeking a Litigation Secretary. This role involves essential responsibilities such as E-filing in state and federal courts, managing new case setups, filing documents, and meticulously handling high email volumes. Key duties include keeping attorneys on schedule, setting up court calls, proofreading, editing, and formatting legal documents. The firm seeks candidates with 3-5+ years of civil litigation defense experience, proficiency in E-filing (both state and federal), and a proactive attitude.

    Job Description:

    • Proven experience as a Litigation Secretary (3-5 years)
    • Familiarity with insurance defense practices
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Proficient in e-filing procedures for both state and federal courts
    • Ability to draft legal documents and correspondence
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to prepare accurate Tables of Contents (TOC) & Tables of Authorities (TOA)
    • Efficient in scheduling and calendaring
    • Being able to support 3-4 attorneys at a time
