    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Staff Accountant to join our team in the Construction Industry.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the financial health of our organization by managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our operations.

    This role will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting activities such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Accounts Reconciliations.

    The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of the accounting principles and a knack for numbers.

    Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance to GAAP.
    Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

    Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.

    Assist with financial and tax audits, and document and monitor internal controls.
    Collaborate with the finance team on forecasts and budgets, providing necessary financial information.

    Use Oracle Fusion to maintain the integrity of the accounting system, ensuring it remains functional and up to date.

    Support overflow work from Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
    A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
    1+ years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
    Proficiency in Oracle Fusion and other accounting software.
    Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
    Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on MS Excel.
    Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis, and multi-tasking skills.
