    **Job Summary**

    The Accounting Manager role will be hubbed out of our corporate office in Urbandale. This position will manage the timely and accurate recording of equipment inventory received, leads the processing sales transactions (invoicing, delivery receipts, payments to manufacturers, etc.), ensures the dealership is utilizing all available programs/discounts, and facilitates the proper invoicing of customers

    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

    -Leads the companys effort to accurately account for equipment inventory and equipment sales. This includes daily management of the work and the team across the following focus areas:

    -Receipt of all equipment inventory received from suppliers

    -Verifying the completeness and accuracy of equipment sales information such as customer information, equipment quantity, amounts, and payoff information needed for payment to equipment suppliers

    -Processing sales and customer payments after examining for completeness and accuracy

    -Loading and/or verifying financing and used equipment floor plan and payoff information for settlements with manufacturers

    -Ensuring eligible external/internal equipment and warranty programs/discounts applied

    -Processing equipment delivery receipts and warranty registrations

    -Processing equipment rentals (including rental returns)

    -Invoicing equipment sales and rentals to customer accounts as needed

    -Assisting equipment manufacturers with audits of existing floor planned inventory

    -Processing equipment titles and MSOs as applicable

    -Auditing equipment inventory data integrity

    -Identifying equipment inventory management opportunities

    -Representing the dealership as the point of contact for manufacturers on inquiries and requests

    **Position Qualifications**

    -3+ years accounting, business processing, reporting or business analysis experience

    -1+ years of supervisory experience preferred

    -Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and statements

    -Proficient with Excel and other standard accounting systems

    -Associate Degree Required.

    -Bachelors Degree in an Accounting/Finance/Business discipline strongly preferred
