- Comprehensive knowledge of Preventative Maintenance standards and DOT
- Diagnose and repair all systems on trucks and trailers
- Working knowledge of engine diagnostics and repair, mechanical and electrical
- After Treatment diagnostic and repair experience
- Maintain a clean, productive and efficient work area
- Identify and report additional maintenance and/or repairs needed, including those required to be performed by Technicians with a higher qualification level
- A minimum of 3 years field experience with a company fleet
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised, manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- Proven problem solving skills
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
- Must have a valid drivers' license, CDL preferred
- Welding experience, a plus

JA Equipment Leasing, Inc., a division of JA Frate, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Diesel Truck Mechanic Tech II (or III),Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 12:00am.
Our mechanics are responsible for servicing both the JA Frate fleet of vehicles as well as external client's fleets.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced mechanic to join a strong and stable company with the ability to continue to expand your skills.
To be a strong fit for this position the candidate must have a proven work ethic, ambitious and a willingness to provide excellent service, both internally and externally.
