Job Description:

The Global Director of Cloud & Infrastructure is responsible for engineering, development, security, implementation, management, maintenance, and monitoring of all Infrastructure, Networks, and related cloud services across the company.

This role includes providing guidance and leadership for IT Managers, leads, and technical resources across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

Build, support, and maintain a global infrastructure strategy with leadership to drive holistic infrastructure ownership and oversight.
Understand business strategies and priorities, driving continual improvements aligning with global infrastructure strategies.
Contribute and maintain a robust IT roadmap of Infrastructure and associated integrations.
Evaluate vendor solutions, develop alternatives, and recommend technical solutions in meeting evolving business needs.
Manage and execute projects: scoping, requirements, documentation, testing, validation, training, and support.
Provide leadership and technical guidance to engineering & deployment of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Collaborate with the Global Security team to develop and maintain incident response plans.
Lead resources to engineer, build, and manage hardware and software standards for organization assets.
Lead and manage Internet circuits from sizing to business requirements.

Leadership Qualities:

Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Comprehensive understanding of enterprise architecture and cloud infrastructure aligned to industry standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Management of Information Systems or related area preferred.
Project or Program Management Certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, MSP) preferred.
10+ years' experience working in an infrastructure and operations role required.
5+ years of leadership experience in medium to large organizations required.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to travel domestically and internationally 5-15%.
Understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cloud deployment models.
Cloud Infrastructure Technologies: Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Security Principles and Practices: Understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, network security, and compliance requirements.
