- Consult with patients about health issues within the musculoskeletal system during office visits;
- Review patient medical records and determine best course of treatment;
- Perform procedures for patients as needed;
- Follow up regarding patient outcomes.
- Completion of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree;
- Completion of a residency program;
- Completion of a fellowship in a hand/upper extremity, plastic surgery, or related program;
- Eligible to obtain state of Nevada medical license;
- Eligible to obtain Board Certification.

We've recently completed construction of the region's only Institute for Musculoskeletal Health located in downtown Reno.This convenient, all-inclusive campus is home to the region's largest team of fellowship-trained orthopedic specialists, imaging, a walk-in clinic, a five-suite outpatient surgery center, physical therapy, and our own education and research center.

A Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon (MD/DO) is responsible for evaluating, preserving, and restoring the musculoskeletal system in a manner that places emphasis on quality patient care.
