    Description


    As a Charter Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to various destinations, including daily trips to New York City and other states, amusement parks, casinos, and other locations.

    Your primary focus will be on providing a comfortable and reliable transportation experience while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.


    Responsibilities:

    Safe Operation of Charter Bus:
    Drive charter buses to designated destinations in a safe and timely manner.
    Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
    Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.


    Passenger Assistance and Customer Service:
    Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the bus.
    Provide excellent customer service throughout the journey.
    Address passenger inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.


    Route Navigation and Planning:
    Familiarize yourself with routes and itineraries for each trip.
    Use GPS and other navigation tools to ensure efficient travel and avoid delays.
    Plan rest stops and breaks to ensure passenger comfort and compliance with regulations.


    Vehicle Maintenance and Care:
    Perform basic maintenance tasks such as refueling, cleaning, and minor repairs.
    Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
    Keep the interior and exterior of the bus clean and presentable at all times.


    Safety and Compliance:
    Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers throughout the journey.
    Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures in case of incidents.
    Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all driving regulations.


    Documentation and Reporting:
    Keep accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and trip details.
    Complete required paperwork, such as trip logs and incident reports.
    Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors regarding trip status and any issues encountered.


    Skills and Qualifications:
    Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger (P) endorsement. Air brakes are a must.
    Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.
    Proven experience as a bus driver or commercial vehicle operator preferred.
    Excellent driving skills and familiarity with driving large vehicles.
    Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful driving situations.
    Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
    Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.


    Physical Requirements:
    Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
    Capable of lifting and handling luggage and other items as needed.
    Good vision and hearing to ensure safe driving and communication.
